@swurl@lykanthrocide ah yeah, I heard people that are using the steam controller for mouse control and that would be pretty good as the joystick part is pretty much a trackpad
> plug-in USB Nintendo pro controller to linux machine > download https://github.com/AntiMicroX/antimicrox > map controller's sticks to mouse movement (left stick) and mouse wheel (right stick) > A is left click, Y is right click, L1 is ctrl+C, R1 is ctrl+V, etc.
@swurl hurt my right hand/arm using the mouse (bad posture shit, I'm a dumbass). I got a beanbag mousepad for the couch now, it's better. I'm letting my right hand/arm rest
@coolboymew@shitposter.world ah I see, I've always wondered about vertical mice for that sort of thing. I just have a wireless trackball that I put in my lap for that sort of thing
@swurl I wouldn't be surprised if I put pressure on my hand from daily usage. I did not use my chair arms (they were up) on my work desk. I put them down, helping the pressure on my hurt arm. Ultimately I rarely had issues with the arm just due to mouse usage, I think, because I started early as a kid? 🤷
Otherwise, I definitively hurt it because I was using the mouse on the couch on a side table and probably fucked around too much. Oddly enough, I was fine doing just that for a year or two, but I guess my arm got tired and I pushed it too much
Now I have a beanbag mousepad for the couch, which should help prevent it from happening again
