     @SlicerDicer @tk I think it was the cato institute put out a video about private roads as a solution to congestion in california and I'm watching the video full of unsourced assertions that contradict years of research finding that traffic always increases to fill capacity.

     traffic doesn't always increase to fill capacity, but adding enough lanes to get there would require more lanes than is feasible
     
     public transport could solve congestion but the way cities are laid out in the US perhaps that's an unfeasible proposition

     Worse though is when they started "paving" our county roads with fly ash, which is waste from the coal plants. Radioactive. Also very damaging to cars as it erodes and destroys your paint, etc.

     Whether or not a condo was a good investment at the time, I'm really glad I bought this place back in 2011. Mortgage is only around $1300 a month, while the average rent for a place of similar size in my neighborhood is around $2200! :blobfoxscared:
