     @sun yes, this is unironically true, though one can argue if Bush created this state of emergency. 9/11 was followed by acts of a dictatorship

     @condret I don't know if it was an inside job but I can't say it wasn't.
     
     Personally I believe that it was
     
     1. not an inside job, it really was by bin laden
     2. israel knew about it
     3. israel let it happen without telling us to advance their own strategic goals

     @sun yes, and under the assumption that 9/11 was an inside job. i guess the structural problems in US politics were obvious, but we (europeans) didn't want to see it.
