@apropos@fsebugoutzone.org I don't agree that a LCD wall can have the same effect as VR.
With VR you at least have some sense of depth perception created by the two different images projected onto your eyes.

@SuperDicq immersive panoramic display, can look behind yourself to see more of the game.
actually, 'VR' is so marginally immersive that a walk-in box the size of a weight lifting power tower, completely covered in LCDs, would probably compete very well with VR, although it'd no longer cost about the same.
