     @meeper yeah, things are definitely getting a bit down to the wire here as well but undoubtedly big things are happening. touching grass arc is peak if you can manage it and honestly I just use fedora gnome now, have for a while, it works and does everything I need it to do now that gamescope works with it again.

     haven't really been active here as of late but no major drama ig.
     
     Personally kinda had a wakeup call with regards to shit in life, and have been very panicky as of late, but on the other hand I've actually seriously started learning and getting shit done, and have walked back on some of the idealogical unixer-suckless bs and started tk actually use a de and touch grass

     @allison@hidamari.apartments I gave gnome a serious chance after kde for a while (tried it first because, more better and consistent looks + polish, esp with regards to gtk 4 stuff, but thats more due to gnomes.hate of anything not gnome).
     
     Honestly set down my specific requirements quite a bit, but their whole lack of choice and customisation thing started to get frustrating, and their deprecating x11 in gtk5 crossed one of the few ideological boundaries i still had
     
     
     Kde is nice tho ( use adwaita colours with it, bceause tbh they look much better)
