     @pomstan @Suzu @waifu the most Misato has ever been observed on-screen to drink is 34 cans in one 3-day period and that didn't happen until 1.11 in 2008 which is not canon for the original run. Rebuild Misato is a different character than original run Misato and drinks more, but that is the most she has ever been confirmed to drink.
     
     At the absolute extreme end of the most alcohol she could possibly consume in ReBuild, using the one time we see her drink a large quantity in a known timeframe, we could extrapolate that she drinks approximately 11 cans of beer a day which would at most put her in the top 10% of heavy American drinkers.
     
     tl;dr the evidence suggests Misato is not an alcoholic
