     Your headline without any article "beef" is ambiguous. Neither the Chinese, nor the Israeli government had anything to do with the TikTok ban. The article is good, so I am citing the conclusion:

     "So 👉the “real story” is pretty simple. #Congress chose to take action essentially to suppress speech and protect Israel. 👈The #Biden administration hid behind China in its justification as to why a ban was essential....

     Yes, I had extracted and prepared a short thread...but then #Tusky erased everything, starting on the 2nd page, it all when I switched Apps back to the browser with the article one last time to recheck sth.
     After that, I did not feel like redoing the whole thing. :(

     "TikTok Ban Fueled By Fealty to Israeli/Saudi/Emirates Global State-Terror/Military Alliance to Provoke Pretextual Nuclear War Against Iran, Not Fear of Chinese Economic/Military Dominance" might have been a more clarifying headline, if not entirely wieldy. The beef of it might require booklength context, but yes.

     I have the same 3 clients installed.
     I had to give up on #Fedilab, b/c for years, I would get the same error message: that the current Samsung OS version of Android wasn't supported yet...before it crashed almost any time I tried publishing an a post.
     I now have another brand and another OS. Might give it another try.
     What is "really" lacking is a #Mastodon 4 #Android that automatically creates threads out of one initial input mask, incl. page#+breaks + headlines.

     Couldn't begin to tell how many times it's happened to me. It might not be worth anything but my recent experience is that Fedilab is a more stable/reliable android client and does realtime caching to a drafts folder until I finally hit 'send'. I've had up to three different clients installed at one time so I could effectively compare them.
