     @tomey @sun on a personal note i don't facebook, twitter or twitter analogue, except fedi, and even that doesn't really make me happy very much.
     
     from a professional shill note i may have to sign up for all the shit again if nothing else to tie it to buffer and just shit marketing/PR to them.
     
     i think the platforms are not really helpful personally and businesses have to put up with whatever idiocy the customers are doing

     @sun @icedquinn I tried to check out bluesky but had no luck with it. I couldn't find any art on it that seemed appealing to me. It seems really dead, mostly bots.

     @icedquinn @sun yeah, I have no hope of gaining anything out of it beyond finding cool art/artists to look at. As much as I dislike Twitter as a whole, it's pretty good at just serving me art I find interesting. Unfortunately, I can't really find anything like this on fedi.

     @icedquinn @sun i think artists are pretty unwilling to stick around on alternative platforms because they're sucked in by the network effect and the idea that you need to be marketing yourself on social media in order to make it big.
