   You really just want to run a comment delete script, as that at least prevents 3rd parties from scraping the comments.

     @stsmith01 there used to be a script you could run that would go through your account and overwrite every comment you ever made with some boilerplate so that when you deleted your account you'd also deprive them of the content you'd added to their platform.
