   As much as I enjoy the people who voted for the Leopards Eating Faces party getting their faces eaten... farns going under, and likely bought by big monopoly farms, is really really really bad

     @duncan_bayne All the gov spending cuts are part of this plan. The rich want more. More land, more slave labor, more profits.
     I don't think the rich particularly hate immigrants or trans people more than they hate any other "poor people". Apathy. But the the immigrants can be legally enslaved, and trans are a convenient way to distract rheir bigoted base.

     @hellomiakoda Oh yeah - I meant, I explicitly wonder whether farms failing and being bought up was the end goal here? Like, is there some sort of financial / lobbying link between the people doing the cutting, and the corporations buying failing farms?
