     @EvilSandmich @Orkin_Awk @Kalogerosstilitis2RevengeoftheJunta So: the best-case scenario is exactly this, baiting judiciary overreach in order to force a particularly egregious ruling to be SCOTUS fast-tracked, where they can get a binding decision castrating the lower federal judges permanently. Thomas has already indicated that he favors restricting lower court authority in this way
     
     This seems to be a very high-risk and moderate-reward plan. Would be better to just pull the Jacksonian solution (tell judges to go pound sand) and be done with it. Dark Brandon already set the precedent.

     @Orkin_Awk @TrevorGoodchild @Kalogerosstilitis2RevengeoftheJunta Well the not-quite MAGA "take" is that they're looking for the perfect case to put this kind of stuff to bed permanently, but I'm not sure their enemies are going to give them that big of an overarching ruling to take advantage of.
     
     One thing I haven't seen brought up is whether or not these cases are even having any impact, I mean, it wouldn't exactly be atypical behavior for Trump to say that he's doing something while not actually doing it.

The way it is now I could get one of those kook judges to compel Trump to dress up as a chicken and dance on the White House lawn.
