@coolbean @jilotta so w by itself doesnt just move the cursor , and instead youre always sort of in visual mode ?
like , how does the editor tell j->move down apart from j->im gonna do a command ?

@fiore @jilotta action-selection order itself just isnt intuitive and limits what you can comfortably do. vim can do stuff other ways usually involving number keys (e.g. to delete 3 words you can do d3w i think but its nice to be able to keep pressing w to grow your selection) -

@jilotta how are vimkeys inconsistent ? i do see that kakoune keys might be ergonomic butidk i find vimkeys very intuitive ?
