   As someone who has (somehow) gained a small following here, I never understood the behavior of always wanting more followers.

   There's only so many people that will think like you think and enjoy the things that you do.

   You can't please everyone and can't enjoy everything.

   If you grow organically instead of trying to be the most liked person, you'll get more people in your circle that like you.

   AKA, don't be fake for follows online. Cause in the end, who really cares about the number if most of them don't agree with you anyway?

     @MyCart to be fair, getting followers doesn't give you fascinating or funny posts to read, unless you're the one making those posts.🤷♂️ Following them back could, but not getting solely getting followers.

     @BeAware I know for me, it’s more for having interactions and fascinating or funny posts to read. It needs to be organic growth though and not algorithm feed
