I've driven a few, but they all had the analog dash (even the turbo one). I wonder what trim type is in the photo. Those old digital displays were terrible, and tended to start to fail within 6~8 years. I've never seen a 90s digital gauge cluster still working without significant repair.
Those 300Zs do tend to kick out easily. Fast throttle response, but really easy to spin out. I saw it a couple of times back when I use to autocross. -

I had a friend who had a 300ZX. Man, that thing was amazing.
Unfortunately both he and the car died when he hit a tree, and his head was crushed.
Remember kids, Oversteer is when you don't see the tree that kills you.

The US version of the GT-R is nice, but crazy expensive. Nissan abandoned the low end enthusiast market when this discontinued the 240 series, same way Honda killed off the Prelude. -
