   I read around some and found out that the Flipper Zero is kind of outdated.
   
   Anyone know of a good more modern device, or steps to build such a thing?

     @tk@bbs.kawa-kun.com in what way? i run Momentum on mine and it receives fucktons of updates each time i update it. for a digital swiss army knife, i don't find it lacking at all.

     HackRF or LimeSDR both do everything flipper can do and way way more, though you'd need to DIY a mobile case and UI. (speaking from research, rather than direct experience).
