   People mostly use Windows because of vendor lock-in, while hating it.

     Ex windows admin here. It is better. Until you learn more about computing. And most people don't want to learn such advanced knowledge that is not profitable in their current job.

     @mangeurdenuage @warmbeverageenjoyer @SuperDicq @sun @newt I've been unfortunate enough to have to play windows admin in the past and it's utterly terrible.
     
     Meanwhile, GNU admin is a walk in the park, as the software actually tells you what went wrong in the logs.
