No one should use a phone that is end of life. That is super insecure. Sadly, many can't afford to switch to a newer phone, manufacturer are to blame for dropping support so quickly, often without providing an on-device notification for it.
Putting a custom ROM on it helps a little, but ideally no one should be using an unsupported phone because these devices aren't secure.

@green@mk.absturztau.be @iro_miya@mk.absturztau.be At FOSDEM I saw the Furilabs FLX1 phone. It has all the things you mentioned.

@iro_miya do you know any phones with a headphone jack and two physical sim slots, which aren't already end of life, or that won't reach end of line in the next year?

@iro_miya >No one should use a phone that is end of life.
No one should have freedom with a Replicant device (by not using the mobile chipset)?
>Sadly, many can't afford to switch to a newer phone
It's not a bad thing that the enemies of humanity don't make even more profit at times.

All connected demon rectangles are totally compromised by the mobile chipset, so it really doesn't make much difference if you use a new one or old one without updates.
