The whole goal is to take possession of the farms for the private equity - so they can backroom deals to fully control you from whether or not you eat to what it is they let you have.
All in the name of profits and control.

One thing is certain the totalitarian takeover of the United States is going to hit farmers particularly hard. Not only have the fruit vegetable farming sector lost their workforce, and in California the summer water supply, but US AID, NOAA, you can expect the USDA to stop assisting them and useful things like soil erosion prevention and of course, Wall Street is gonna make a ton of money off of farm bankruptcy.

It's so sad that the WaPo believes, probably rightly, that in order to potentially get more Americans to care about Beijing and the Kremlin's efforts to get USAID out of their way that they focus their story on how much it will cost U.S. farmers rather than on the children and other vulnerable people around the globe that will die because of Republicans' cruel actions.
