   Hey KL / PJ friends what would you say are the top food things for someone traveling there for the first time?

   @serpentroots is going! (My list is LONG but also >5 years old)

   I'll start:

   1. Restoran Green View: sang har meen (fresh prawn noodles)

   2. Brader John burger ramly

   3. Everything at Eastern Kopitiam

   4. Village Park nasi lemak and fried chicken

   5. Kanna curry house for 'banana leaf' south indian food

   6. A ton of amazing Chinese food in SS2, too many to name

   7. REALLY good and very affordable Japanese restaurants not too far away in Subang.. also too many to name

   8. I think the quintessential PJ experience is 'lok lok' from a truck. Like hotpot, but an entire truck. 'Cook' the food on one side, 'fry' the food on the other side of the truck. Pick one with great ratings or bad bathroom trips await.

     @serpentroots some really interesting immigrant cuisines like Xinjiang and Yemeni and Iranian foods also

     @skinnylatte @serpentroots For PJ: Kam heong teochew braised duck at pj state (not halal), Sri ganapathi mess, next station noodle house (Hakka food from Bentong), maybe Murni (it’s probably not that good nowadays but still a pj ss2 institution?)
