   1. para-state organisations create malware that can attack your phone, and compromise even your encrypted comms

   2. it is "normal" people being targeted - lawyers, NGOs, journalists, activists,. .

   why do I mention this?

   because

   1. people are talking about #signal as if it were a complete a solution - it isn't

   2. it is not just very few people who are targeted, as suggested by "threat model" discussions
