@plotinus_enjoyer @bigbologna Correct. The old testament is basically
>Hard times create God fearing men. God fearing men create times of plenty. Times of plenty create wicked men. Wicked men create hard times (also 3/4 of the jews get slaughtered for it). Repeat.
We're talking about a people who walked across the parted Red Sea, ate heavenly provided food and water, had a pillar of fire / pillar of cloud indicating God's presence with them, and only waited a few weeks after Moses went up to the holy mountain to start worshipping idols. Like they're literally getting food from God, directly, in the morning and they still say "A-ARON MAKE ME A GOLDEN CALD OUT OF THIS GOLD JEWELR OR I'M GOING TO RIOT LOLOL!". Foolish.

@bigbologna On a more serious note: being genetically an Israelite is insufficient. Anyone who has seriously read the Old Testament (which you clearly haven’t done) will know that idol-worship is basically a favourite past-time of even the biblical Israelites.
@BowsacNoodle you seem more well-read on this so correct me if I’m wrong.
