     @dowitcher @denschub @jeffcliff Don't forget that Linux is only a kernel, thus it's just Linux, although if you wish to stress that Linux is only a kernel, you should write; the kernel Linux.
     
     The patches microsoft make are mostly only useful to them (i.e. the driver that interfaces with proprietary hyper-v), or break things.
     
     
     When it comes to contributions to Linux, is it really a contribution if it's not licensed GPLv2-or-later and isn't for free software?
