     I wasn't familiar with them, but this post about the establishment of the Social Web Foundation is illuminating.

     It's a nonprofit which promotes the use of ActivityPub. Meta is a partner because Threads uses it.

     I don't believe Meta is affiliated with FreeOurFeeds.

     I think there might be some confusion here.

     I'm looking at their site (https://freeourfeeds.com/) and it doesn't have Meta. It doesn't even have a page for "Partners".

     It also starts the page with the statement, "With Zuckerberg going full Musk last week, we can no longer let billionaires control our digital public square."
