@shibao So, I think this is meant to be humorous but the tweet exists because there's this huge temptation to actually try it, and I did! You're gonna have a bad time. The only people that won't have a bad time are people that, actually, just already do this and only produce working code by exhausting every option without thinking through the problem, even if it takes them 10x as long. I have worked with humans that did this decades before AI-assisted coding existed. -

@shibao @sun i suspect most people would indeed never need a carpenter again if they could talk to machine and it would build them something that's better than what most carpenters are doing in a tenth of the time and for 20 dollars
