     @skinnylatte @laxla I think it's maybe a lack of practice? I mean this in the sense of a lot of "English speaking people" (of which I am one) don't cook rice on a regular basis. (I am not in that camp though.)

     @jbaggs @laxla there are food celebrities in the English speaking world who say things like ‘I can’t cook rice well’ which makes me instantly distrust their recipes on everything else. Haha
