@mekkaokereke Yeah. I find all the handwringing about how nobody wanted this or how people only voted for trump/stayed home (same difference) did so because they were misinformed, all that is deeply unhelpful.

We did this. Us. Americans.

People chose to be misinformed. People chose the rapist criminal over the hyper-qualified black woman. This IS what America wants.

We can get better. But not unless we first acknowledge the truth about who America is, as a people.
