Us neighbor kids played Army all the time. Never Navy. Anyone ever play Navy?

Something strange about my childhood was I rarely if ever saw any anti-Nazi stuff when it came to WW2. Sure, Hogan's Heroes was in replay, but they made Nazis look goofy and human (Schulz just wanted to go back home to his toy factory and Col. Klink treated the prisoners well). All the WW2 stuff was Pacific Theater. Kill the Japs and all that, storm Iwo Jima, AA gunners at Midway. TV programming in my area was like that, and even then it was minimal at best. They were too busy showing go-go girls and old westerns. Remember seeing Wild Wild West?

Oh yeah. I had gotten a long cardboard box, held a water heater. Some markers, a couple mirrors and a length of cardboard tube to make a periscope, even had some "torpedos"

I Loved WWW. I had a crush on Robert Conrad with those blue eyes! Combat was my brother's favorite. He still watches the reruns.
Black Sheep Squadron was good too!
