   It's almost creepy to me, hearing about how so many people born deaf, upon gaining the ability to hear, remark how quiet the sun is. They grow up assuming that it should be very loud.
   I keep imagining as if it should, but for some reason we don't hear it, and deaf people have this instinct that it should. Like a cool horror prompt.

     Reminds me a bit of blind-from-birth people envisaging candle flames as massive because you can feel the heat from far away.

     @druid @Paradox It reminds me of science fiction where they'd get too close to the sun and end up hearing it in a way or another.

     @lanodan @Paradox Go for the Father's Bones goal if you play it again, it's by far the most unique and interesting. My favourite ports are the city of mirrors and the maddening snow castle.

     @lanodan @Paradox Also while I'm on the subject of Failbetter Games: Cultist Simulator is the best possible crash course in magic for gamers. Alexis Kennedy claims he never did any magic but saw it drive his brother insane. I don't believe for a second that he has a clean record.
