     @wjmaggos The AppleTV/iOS app allows you to add any arbitrary Owncast server, but currently the Roku only allows you to browse the directory. However, if people show interest, and people use it, it can grow, and more features can be added! @roadriverrail and @tgpo are currently prepping the Roku app to be a bit more flexible and support things like this in the future if it makes sense.

     @owncast @wjmaggos @tgpo To shed a little light on things, we're currently trying to get the Roku folx to publish our current update. Because an all-livestreams client is very unusual for Roku's ecosystem, we have to ask permission for each update. The next update will let you curate a list of favorites and adds a "LIVE" badge for live streams.

     @tgpo is rewriting the codebase to make it easier to work on. Then we'll happily consider search and manual entry of off-directory streams.

     having a #Roku app is great. I wish #peertube did.

     is there a search option? does owncast determine which streams are available OTT?
