   basically if someone should be a programmer they can start with anything and become a good programmer. if they should not be a programmer it doesn't matter what you give them.

     @sun It does feel like that. Some people just have The Talent, others don't. I started with ActionScript and then Bourne Shell.

     @sun@shitposter.world I feel like the field of programming is important tho. E.g. if I started with frontend, I probably wouldn't be here. Trying out a bunch of broader set of "specialties" is quite good I feel like
