   @ShiitakeToast @GottaLaff There are some federal grants that are specifically for diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility and many to study climate change. I don't know what is going to happen with this federal grant "pause". The collateral damage to scientific research (not to mention grants for more social work) might not be a key part of the plan, but it seems they are not worried about it either. As a recipient of federal funding for my job, I am likely to be affected.

     @GottaLaff None of the funding they’re blocking is secret. There’s no internal investigation that’s going to “turn up something”. The point is to disrupt.

     One line of bullshit that #Trump is getting away with: "Oh, they're just assessing programs, all new Admins do." Even ignoring that, no, they don't all do that, this is the Project 2025 Hit the Ground Running implementation. They've been "assessing programs" for two years.
