     @FishNamedDog There's also the continuous repression of women, people of color, queer folk around the world, there's climate change of which everyone here is basically a guilty parter, there's extremism, racism, lack of educational opportunities, colonialism, the effects of colonialism, global banking, wealth inequality, destruction of habitats, oil extraction, the CFA Franc, corruption so much damn corruption, corporate greed, man's inhumanity to man, rewriting of historical harms, deforestati

     @quinn there's also bad stuff going on in afghanistan, burkina faso, burundi, the central african republic, chad, china, the drc, eritrea, ethiopia, haiti, iran, madagascar, mauritania, myanmar, niger, somalia, south sudan, ukraine, and yemen. some of those are genocides. but also, equally periodic reminder that stuff does not need to be a genocide to be horrific and worthy of being stopped!

     @FishNamedDog but there's also an ongoing genocide in Sudan that doesn't get much coverage.
