     A fair question. You have asked the right person, a connoisseur of stupid.

     That was more calculated than stupid.

     Don't get me wrong. There was deep stupidity involved, but mostly in the apparent belief that anyone would buy what the editorial was selling. What it was selling was garden-variety stupid.
