  @timbray @evan I’m running my own instance from the DO one-click setup. Smooth for the most part. If you pick an instance type that’s too small, you may run into memory constraints and need to setup a swap file and re-run the setup. I have my instance configured with Cloudflare Argo/Tunnel and have the instance itself completely locked down.

  @mike @evan It'd be super cool if you did a brief write-up of that Cloudflare etc config. Tbh I'm reasonably net-savvy but have no idea what you even mean there, and I bet there are a lot of people like me. Current plan is to just take all the defaults…

  @timbray @evan sure thing! I'll draft something shortly. In the meantime, the high-level explanation is you install the Cloudflare daemon to tunnel traffic from the DO instance to a CF endpoint, without exposing any ports, or the instance IP address.
