     @deadheat@freesoftwareextremist.com yeah lots of chinese crap, comic industry is big, but argentina's manga industry seems bigger, the editorial Ivréa releases at least 4 new volumes per week, they did 11 this week, both new and old manga, they recently announced a rerelease of Trigun. where you at though, mexico?

     I might find some manga for sale here if look at stores that sell all sorts of rpg and video game stuff, but I'm not likely to find a good variety of them.

     @deadheat@freesoftwareextremist.com I actually wrote about it recently on my blog, even though they do release localized comics, most of the sellers don't like them, the "it's not the saame" elitism is present which is fine I guess, but it just pushes new people away from being interested. I have these comics i bought like 4 years ago but they don't even appear in the internet lol, it's like lost media or something

     Though the translations are usually subpar.

     @waifu @nerthos @deadheat Tbh I would actually prefer that kind of translation provided the quality is decent, the boxes blend-in rather than cover up the art with ugly red and the sfx is translated too.
     
     Heck for every page add an extra page listing the Kanji readings and meaning and sentence structure meanings.
