I don’t know what goes through people’s minds for them to think that color is an irrelevant part of life for a blind person. I’d argue that color (and brightness and contrast) is actually a very important aspect of all accommodations I need.

In addition to that, almost every blind person I know has an incredible fashion sense — including me. The type of blindness and the constraints we have influence the kind of mental model we have for color, but it’s still part of our lives? C’mon.
