Seriously though, what is wrong with all the fire detectors? Statistically speaking, they should no longer be able to beep in every video.

Why would they stop beeping? Fire codes demand that smoke detectors be wired to permanent power. They have batteries in case the power goes out and a fire breaks out.
The constant power keeps them running, and acknowledging the low battery inside them.
