     @navi Saw it few times while browsing shell manpages… not really sure when it's useful but well I tend to organise things to be easy to tab-complete.
     (Like that's why I have gentoo.git at /repo/gentoo instead of /var/db/repos/gentoo)

     @lanodan i have things similar in ~/src but, ehh, it's still annoying (specially since here it's ~/src/gentoo/{gentoo,enomicon})
     
     it sounds useful but not... essential? and for repos it's less useful because rcd[1] exists and does a lot more things useful for ebuild maintainership
     
     so idk if i'll end up using CDPATH actually, but it's interesting that it exists, and it's a directory version of PATH
