@lain the crts used to run at infinite frames per second because it was analog thats why its infinite quality and u cant play retro games on flat screens but oleds are ok lainy likes this. -

@lain@lain.com @why@shitposter.world Plasma was actually a decent crt replacement from a visual perspective. I still have a panny plasma squirreled away in my closet for when i want to hook up my supernt.
That said i do love oleds for blasting my retinas with dolby vision movies, but the way they handle displaying images is completly alien to how graphics were meant to be displayed for the games in question.
