   Am I the only one who skips episodes or scenes of a show where a character dies? Like, I’ll watch the episode at least once. But like, I don’t want to see Kira kill Jennifer Sisco again in DS9. I always skip the episodes in Grey’s where Lexi and Mark die. In TNG, I always skip Skin of Evil, because I don’t want to see Tasha die. Yesterday’s Enterprise is hit or miss. In HBP, I skip the chapter where Dumbledore dies… You get the point. Does anyone else do this?

     @singingnala Hmmm, that's a tricky one. Books, no, mainly because I don't tend to read books more than once anyway. With TV shows it's not so much about the death or even 1 scene, but the intensity of the whole episode. If it's just mentioning that the death happened, or if it's just a quick scene than I'm probably fine, but if it's drawn out, or if the whole episode has that feeling of doomb to it, or if it centers around the death, then I skip it.

     @singingnala I don't skip chapters where they die, but I do skip chapters where there is a lot of suffering for example, I always skip the chapter in the cave in the sixth Harry Potter book, but I don't skip the chapter where he actually dies. But the part where he has to drink, the potion is awful! I don't like to watch that kind of suffering.

     @Pawpower @singingnala Yeah, that's the scene that really bothers me, and as frustrated as I got with the movies I'm glad they glossed over that scene.
