     @tofugolem @prefec2 Some yes, but a larger portion are working three jobs for 100 hours a week in order to live in a roach-infested studio.

     For tens of millions of Americans, there's no room to breathe, but less pay attention to the news.

     @tofugolem political commentary in the late 1920s pointed out where the Nazis were heading, but conservatives didn't care and rather enabled the fascists. Unfortunately, this time no allies will rescue the US and the EU. Thus, it is our obligation to fight it and help people to get away from this dark trajectory.

     The Germans had no historical precedent to inform them, Americans did. Ergo, Americans did this to ourselves deliberately.
