   It's sad that others are SO selfish and dismissive of people's feelings, that when discussing their hatred for AI, they disregard the actual human requirement for these things to create things.

   They say such things as "AI art has no soul, feelings, or heartache".

   Which disrespectfully dismisses my entire life of pain, heartache, and my own creative mind.😔

   Do you really think that I don't put my own experiences into the things I "make" with AI? That I'm just putting random shit in and getting random shit out...?

   That's not how that works.😑

     @dannotdaniel no, of course not.

     That's why I broke the argument down into those that say it's heartless, has no feelings, or emotion.

     My emotions, feelings, and experiences are worth no less than anyone who can draw better than me.

     I'm glad you are proud of your creations, whatever your tools may be.

     Is it not right to acknowledge that the people whose work was taken (without their consent) to create those tools ALSO would have pride in theirs? Do you think they spent longer on it than typing stuff into a prompt?

     What about the environmental footprint?

     Does acknowledging any of this make me selfish?

     @BeAware Absolutely, I create a lot of stories, they are my stories, I will never share them with anyone because they are absolutely all based on my feelings and are absolutely not just junk that AI spews out. I am very much one of those people who likes to use AI a lot, but the nonsense that AI isn't being creative is also wrong, because man so much emotiongoes in to my stories that I create.

     And how much art that has been created by disabled artists over the last 1,000 years would be tagged AI today.

     Anything that is colorful, fantasy, fun, and doesn’t look like a photograph. Even “The Scream.”
