   We're having a company onsite. One of my coworkers flagged me down to say how comfortable he and his team are asking our security team for advice, because we make them feel welcome and treat them like they're grown, intelligent adults.

   This is one of the greatest work compliments I've ever gotten.

     @tek great work. It's such a benefit for users to feel comfortable asking what they may feel is a stupid question without the fear of being berated. Those few seconds answering something simple (even many times) may save you, them and the company many hours or a horrible hack had they been afraid to ask.

     @CenturyAvocado 100%. Like, of course they have questions. We do this for a living; they don’t. We've studied it more than they have. I have to ask their help all the time for things where they're experts and I'm not. We all have our roles to play!

     Spending 10 seconds answering a question they felt comfortable asking, in order to save 40 hours of cleaning up afterward because they guessed wrong, is one hell of an investment.
