      If you read the book, your ears would prick up at the mention of any of the Laurel Canyon elites. Zappa was among the first to kick off the hippie counter-culture movement, and "strangely" enough almost the entire first batch, like Jim Morrison, were all children of military, intelligence, and elite families.
