     @quasi OTOH, the oligarchs are mainly attacking it because it's a source of information outside of their control.

     Suggestions include imposing a "community notes" system instead of editorial ranking; ie, let the mob pick and choose which lies are approved of; ie, allow it to be manipulated by online bots.

     Wiki had always included misinfo. They want to to include disinfo.

     @quasi He's attacking "legacy media" -- ie, the news industry which is ultimately out of his control, and leaving twitter tho.

     It was also part of a collections of attacks he's made recently.

     @quasi Context: He has edited his questionable salute out of the videos circulating, and if news wants to continue on X they edit it out too.

     Not wiki. It's out of his control.
