    another regular use word i’m missing in English: agonizar (being in the last stage before death). saying “dying” is too ambiguous, we’re all dying. give me a word for when it’s imminent.

      @lzg I think "expiring" is used that way sometimes, but not often enough to be natural. Closest I can think of is the phrase "at deaths door" or "on deaths doorstep" 🤔

      There’s always “agonize”, although most people would think it relates to something terribly slow, it is the direct translation of “agonizar”
