   So, GTK decided to relegate X11 urgency hints because "they are not useful in modern desktops" and drop their support from the GTK API.

   So now, my messaging app cannot tell me that it requires attention without throwing a notification to my system...

   This is very sad. I know Wayland is the future and all but... developers removing functionality out of things is just the worse thing in life.

     I still use X11. It works. It's good.

     GTK does not respect the `gsettings`.

     Thanks GTK for making everything so fucking difficult.
