     @bomkatt @aronow Yeah, in a work setting most (if not all) of your communications are already recorded anyway, so to me, it's just not a huge risk.

     But I'd want to know.

     @FlashMobOfOne @aronow I suspect the Fedi is more cautious about AI note taking tools than much of the world, fwiw.

     I would worry about what topics the note taker is recording- you’re probably not talking about anything super confidential in an interview, but...

     I work for a law firm, so there are different confidentiality rules in place with vendors.

     @FlashMobOfOne @aronow I see a big difference in having my employer know what I’m doing on their work device/on their behalf and an unknown third-party.

     I also know that companies like Zoom and MSFt have rules about how that data is handled (although who knows if it is followed)

     @bomkatt I'd love to worry about that, but I'm resigned to the fact that it's never going to change.

     The only thing Americans seem to love more than God and Guns is voting for their own oppression in support of capitalists.

     Honestly, though, it’s the business models that bug me, not the tech tools
