   I think you know where I stand on this one. If I aim for your sternum, but all of a sudden your late slide puts your head where your sternum was 0.5 seconds ago, it's legit not my fault.

   I blame the rule more than I blame the refs on that one.

     If I was a defender and Mahomes pulled his fake going out of bounds, or stopping just before going out of bounds, or starting his slide at my feet, I’d take his head off and gladly take the 15 yards and a fine. They’re all cheap tactics to draw a penalty. The refs are trying to protect QBs and he abuses that protection. Even Troy Aikman complained about what Mahomes is doing.
