One of my more ridiculous unconscious beliefs is that if I bring a reusable shopping bag into a store, and it's printed with the logo of one of their direct competitors, the workers in that store are going to be mad at me. It's ok to bring a hardware store bag into a grocery store, since they don't directly compete, but bringing the bag of a different grocery store is a direct affront.

rndeon (rndeon@cosocial.ca)'s status on Tuesday, 21-Jan-2025 00:34:38 JST rndeon @evan for us, the best-constructed and cheapest available bags for a long time were LCBO bags, so our concern isn't for the competitive feelings of employees, but instead their judgment on our lushness when we bring 5 LCBO bags into the grocery store
